Interior Designer Lindsey Runyon took a dated, suburban, McMansion style bathroom and turned it into a Moroccan escape.
The Eastlake remodel included a freestanding tub replaced a colossal built-in tub and a new vanity made the space feel more airy and open. The wall tile pattern was custom-designed and installed piece-by-piece to be “modern Moroccan” with an Ombre transition. The new archway over the shower completes the Moroccan effect. All trim, doors and woodwork for the bathroom, bedroom and living room entry was imported from Morocco. The bedroom ceiling and stairs were stenciled for added visual effect.
