This kitchen remodel of a Ballard Craftsman was part of a whole house remodel and restoration. The kitchen layout was redesigned to add much needed working space and cabinetry with a walk-in pantry.
The soapstone countertops and backsplash are a beautiful frame for the Carrara marble-topped island with antique pendants overhead. The custom cabinets are finished with Farrow and Ball paint and aged brass pulls. A mudroom with built-in storage was added to the back of the house for a better transition into the kitchen, with the kitchen naturally flowing into the dining room. Architecture by Gant Nychay.
