Loyal Heights Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel
This Loyal Heights home was already full of charm but the kitchen and bathroom needed a bit of a facelift. The owners wanted their 1940s home to feel more open and a little less outdated. Harjo took on that challenge and expanded the footprint of the kitchen and bathroom, added new storage solutions, refinished the floors, repainted, and retiled the hearth of the fireplace in the living room.
Kitchen
- Expanded the footprint of the kitchen and opened up the kitchen and dining rooms by removing a peninsula that previously divided the two spaces
- Added more storage and prep space by walling off an unnecessary extra entry to the kitchen from the hallway
- Opened up the wall between the kitchen and living room and added a breakfast bar to provide better line of sight and flow between the rooms
- Installed a built-in dining bench with drawers for more storage space
- All new finishes and fixtures
Bathroom
- Expanded the footprint and completely reconfigured the family’s main bathroom, only keeping the original window
- All new finishes and fixtures
Living Room
- Refinished floors and repainted
- Retiled the hearth of the fireplace
