This DADU (Detached Accessory Dwelling Unit) was designed by our client, an architect, whose mother-in-law was moving to Seattle from California.
The two-story home has a combined living and dining space, compact kitchen and a half-bath with laundry on the first floor. The Ikea kitchen features European compact appliances. The second floor has a light-filled, loft bedroom and bathroom with natural light from two skylights and two staircase windows.
