A new kitchen in a midcentury Olympic manor home with a view.
This 1956 Olympic Manor home was in serious need of a makeover. The old kitchen was cramped, and cabinets blocked a stellar view of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains. The new kitchen features custom walnut cabinets with numerous roll-out features and a new pantry that occupies what was previously a closet. The custom-panel refrigerator and dishwasher are an elegant touch and the island allows for family connection while taking in the views. The oak flooring throughout was given a fresh stain and sealed for another generation of use. The living room received new lighting and the stairwell received a custom oak guardrail cap to add a layer of refinement. This kitchen-focused remodel is packed with details.
